Explore the world’s leading energy sites, from coal to solar, oil to biofuels, most of them highly restricted and never before seen on film. The Energy Finance Discussion Group, Denver Petroleum Club, and the University of Colorado Denver – Global Energy Management program invites you to join us for this special showing of “Switch.”

The showing of “Switch” will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Denver Athletic Club’s Grand Ball Room, 1325 Glenarm Place.

Throughout the film, “Switch,” energy visionary Dr. Scott Tinker explores the world’s leading energy sites, gets straight answers from the people driving energy today: international leaders of government, industry and academia. In the end, he cuts through the confusion to discover a path to our future that is surprising and remarkably pragmatic.

Energy is the most important issue of our time. Our transportation, global commerce, food and water, medicine, communications and computing all depend on it. Energy is also the biggest factor in the health of our environment. We may not think so, but we do hold the power to change energy for the better. It starts with a clearer understanding, and continues with a smarter use of energy.
